Green Quarantine

Green Quarantine was made at the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic. Millions of people were stuck inside, feeling helpless.

For most people, the best way of helping was to stay inside and do nothing. So, I and a friend, decided this would be a good moment to motivate them to fight the another crisis.

Green Quarantine is a checklist of actions to stop the climate crisis without leaving lockdown.

We wanted to make it as easy as possible to take single actions that would have lasting effects. The actions we chose we're:

  • Join a pressure group
  • change your bank
  • change your energy provider
  • divest your pension
  • spread the word

Green Quarantine got lots of shares, but we failed to get it to go viral. It is however the first step towards making a more effective website for helping people join pressure groups. Which is on its way.
